Hej alla! Läs nedan information om gratis psykologsamtal för alla KTH studenter.
Några av er har frågat om THS kommer erbjuda KTHs studenter fria samtal hos Mindler igen. Det har vi nu ordnat för resten av terminen VT21!
Från och med idag fram till den 30e juni erbjuder THS alla KTHs studenter att använda Mindler för upp till fem samtal gratis. Det krävs inte att du är medlem i THS för att använda erbjudandet, bara att du är KTH student.
Varför gör vi detta? Vi ser att många studenter mår dåligt och behöver extra stöd i sitt mående nu under pandemin. Därför behöver vi hjälpas åt och stötta varandra, men för många är det även viktigt att kunna prata med någon professionell om det som oroar eller får en att må sämre under sin studietid. Vi erbjuder Mindler som ett alternativ dit alla studenter kan vända sig till för att få stöd, där kan du boka en tid inom 24h med en psykolog.

Värt att notera är att det krävs en partnerkod för att få samtalet gratis, detta kommer skickas ut den 29e april genom KTHs nyhetsbrev som kommer till alla studenter. Eftersom det är oerhört viktigt att nå alla studenter med information om att de kan använda Mindler så ber jag er att sprida informationen ovan inom era sektioner och till alla era medlemmar. Antingen att ni gör det själv eller vidarebefordrar mailet till er kommunikatör eller styrelse i sektionen som kan sprida informationen vidare. Ni når studenterna bättre än vad vi oftast kan. Om ni hör att någon mår dåligt kan ni hjälpa till att hänvisa till denna information. Vi kommer även sprida detta genom THS kanaler inom de kommande dagarna.

Allmänt om priset
Kamratstipendiet instiftades 1912 för att utse och belöna goda kamrater vid var och en av studentkårens sektioner. Varje sektion har rätt att nominera upp till tre medlemmar som delar på prissumman. Priset utgörs av avkastningen från Stiftelsen Tekniska Högskolans i Stockholm Kamratstipendiefonder och ligger vanligtvis mellan 40 000 och 60 000. Priset delas sedan jämt mellan sektionerna (runt 2 000 – 3 000 kr per sektion), vartefter den fördelas jämnt mellan de studenter som har blivit nominerade av sektionen.
Hur görs valet?
Valet görs på sektionsmöte 3 (SM3) på Kemisektionen, vilket är den 22 februari 2021. Nomineringar kan skickas till talmanspresidiet på talman@k.kth.se innan, eller under mötet. Sektionen kan besluta att utse mer än en, men högst tre stipendiater.
Vem ska nomineras?
Till stipendiat/-er väljs den/de som av kamraterna anses därtill mest förtjänt. Sektionen kan också välja att inte utse någon stipendiat. Om detta sker, delas beloppet ut till övriga stipendiater.
Hur fattas beslutet?
Det är ordföranden för KTH:s stipendieråd som fattar det faktiska beslutet om att tilldela personen stipendiet. Det är viktigt att hålla isär sektionens nominering och det formella beslutet. Personen har alltså inte blivit tilldelad stipendiet förrän det är klubbat av stipendierådets ordförande, vilket vanligen sker i maj.
När kommer stipendiet?
De som har blivit tilldelade stipendiet får besked via mail och mellan juni-augusti betalas stipendiesumman ut."

Vi hoppas ni är taggade på att ta med er hela sektionen till mässan så att så många som möjligt får träffa alla olika utställare vi har! Vi kommer också ha THS-presentationer under dagen, så jättebra speciellt för de sektioner som inte fick sådana under mottagningen i år! ^^

The event will take place on January 20, from 10:00 to 18:00. During the day you can visit all THS associations, KTH Support functions and some of the chapters. Cerlic Controls AB offers an exciting MSc thesis project with a focus on problem solving, development and sustainability. The role will provide insight and skills to work at the forefront when it comes to practical applications of current research.
Cerlic is looking for an independent and hungry engineering student who is not afraid to take on new challenges and who can start looking at new areas that can form the basis for future product development. If the project is successful, there might be an offering for continuation after the degree and then practically develop the product that the dissertation demonstrates as recommended.
During the thesis project, you will apply your expertise in your studied area to theoretically study and analyze the difficult-to-measure parameters in treatment plants as well as develop and test proposals for any potential, practical application of theoretical principles.
More specifically; Ammonium, is a difficult-to-measure but essential parameter in treatment plants, the task is to develop existing measurement methods and their theoretical principles. As your thesis project, you should select one or two principles and test whether they have the conditions to work in real operation. To help you, in addition to supervisors on site, you will also have access to two colleagues who work full time with similar tasks outside the ammonium area.

In addition to the degree project, Cerlic Controls AB is also interested in a student who, either in combination with the thesis project or independently, can take part in a part-time internship. The assignment would then include R&D-work to the extent of about 2 days a week during the spring of 2021 and you would then work closely with the company's R&D manager. The tasks at the internship have a wide range and depending on your interests and your experience, you will then choose to focus on a specific area.

THS has started something called Nymblerådet (Nymble council). This is a meeting where different questions about the daily operation in Nymble will be discussed. During this first meeting, the 23th of November questions about the restaurant business will be discussed and it's open for all THS members.
